$SLPTTokenomics
The token of the Sliceport protocol on Solana. Holders vote on the parameters the market runs on, and a portion of protocol fees buys the token back.
The number is settled, and nobody holds the pen.
A token whose supply can grow is a promise that depends on restraint. $SLPT removes the question: supply was fixed at creation and the mint revocation specified.

One billion, and that is all
The design specifies a fixed total supply. No schedule releases more later, and no formula expands it when the market is busy.
A supply that cannot expand
Revocation is required so a larger supply is not a decision anyone gets to take. Verify the issued mint and its authority before participation.
Governance cannot mint either
Parameter changes pass a timelock and are published with their reason. Creating $SLPT is not something that process can do.
Tied to governance and revenue, not emissions.
Two jobs: a say in how the protocol is run, and a link to what it earns through fee-funded buybacks.
A vote on parameters
Tier limits, haircuts, fees and exposure caps are set by holders. Passed proposals go through the timelock with their reason published.
Direction of income
Fees pay for audits, the bug bounty and operations. Holders decide together how the rest is put to work.
Revenue-funded buybacks
A portion of fees buys $SLPT back. The money comes from real lending, so buybacks grow with the market.
Guardrails that do not move
Whatever holders decide, the timelock, the published reason for each change, and unpausable repayment stay fixed.
Three things the token will never do.
Tokens have been used to rent liquidity, gate products and hide thin economics. Sliceport is built so none of those is available.
Subsidise rates
Every rate is agreed between a borrower and their lenders. No yield is topped up with token rewards, so a quoted APR is the APR.
Gate the market
Loans are in USDC, secured by tokenized stocks, with fees in USDC. Holding $SLPT is not required to borrow or lend.
Hold the protocol up
Sliceport earns from fees charged when real work is done. The market runs on those fees with or without the token.
Income comes from fees, charged where work is done.
Four fees define the model and a fifth is on the roadmap. Each is a published parameter, collected in USDC when value changes hands, and none is hidden inside a quoted rate.
That income funds audits, the bug bounty and running the service, and a portion of it buys $SLPT back.
Hold the token.Help steer the market.
Holders set the parameters the market runs on and share in its growth through buybacks. The mint is on Solscan and every fee is public. Nothing here is investment advice.
